Season One of the new Australian web series and spoof reality show, Footballer Wants a Wife has been romancing audiences across Australia since the start of September. The hilarious new series, created by Ben Nicholas, follows three professional sportsman on their journey to find love, as they are matched up with 14 potential bachelorettes who will stop at nothing to become a WAG. Filming wrapped in Toorak, Melbourne at the end of June and we have been waiting with baited for the series to air this month, in order to catch a glimpse of three very familiar LinstenMorris faces!
Brooke Satchwell stars as the perfect reality show host Sally Brightmore who knows no bounds when it comes to getting ratings and is able to breeze through the absurd twists and turns of contrived reality with not a hair out of place. Elise Jansen is the beautiful and intelligent research scientist Kayla, a driven competitor who joined the show in search for the perfect sperm donor. Georgia Chara joins in the fun as the mysterious sales rep Bella with something to hide. Is that the twinkle of young love in her eyes? or are they the shadowy secrets of her past?
